So yesterday I went to the City with my friends to celebrate the birthday of Rose and Rhiannon. It was quite enjoyable. A few notable moments were sprinting several kilometres in the rain to avoid missing a train; eating Emperor Puffs (or, as Renmark calls them, ‘jizz in a bun’)*drool*; sitting on public transport next to a hardcore female security guard/assassin/supreme overlord/whatever the hell she was, who was listening to Heavy Metal and vigorously head bopping; playing on the MOST SEXY baby grand piano in Allan’s Music Store; walking past two actors from that ABC TV dance show; becoming lost while trying to find Pancakes At The Rocks and, of course, eating there. Most exciting, however, was seeing the ‘pancakes girl’. 

To the girl who was wearing a green beanie, had light eyes and was sitting behind the table of twenty one loud, hungry and excitable (we’re not always like that) teenagers: Will you marry me?

LOL JK, I unfortunately don’t even know you and it is highly likely that we will never meet. 

Sadly, we couldn’t get a full group photo because we were all so busy running around. This is the largest one we managed. Notice the diversity in Ethnicity?

That song keeps repeating in my head. Dont know why, but I like it. It actually make me feel good. Anyhow. I return for a post or 2. I dont think its possible to quit tumblr. 

Today, we got back info on our audition. She said that because it was an 80’s theme this year we couldn’t do bohemian rhapsody. But she said our wicked playing got us in, and that we didnt have to audition again, we just had to pick another song, from the 80’s.

The top choices atm seem to be:

Eagles - Heartache Tonight

Europe - Final Countdown (i want this the most)

Crowded House - Don’t Dream Its Over (recommended to us by Cook)

Billy Joel - We didn’t start the Fire
